@Member wow that's actually very interesting... I wonder why you were so afraid of being a geometrical form... Would you still be scared?

Nothing wrong with that... Image streaming is more like remote viewing than astral projection,

Well that sounds a bit lame tbh. I dont wanna be doing all this work to just turn into my crappy chinese made ip cam. Haha

Astral projection relies more heavily on the trance state, are you good at trance?

Yep, when i say I'm in deep sleep now what i mean is im in the subtle body state now. I was sort of pointing to the fact that the subtle body is happening now, not just when sleeping. So you probs already know this but for others on here, its possible to rest in the subtle body all the time. Trance as far as i can tell based on the descriptions is just basic enlightenment work where you recognise you're the non-doer, unless thats not true.

It looked like the Hoberman sphere just that it was plain grey in a black space.

I wonder if it was synchronized with my breathing. No wonder it scared the hell out of me, that's like a bad trip on drugs. For a kid, it is disturbing.

Obviously, I must have seen many other things but I only remember the sphere and some geometrical shapes.

@electroBeam ah OK, well then AP away! Whatever you're drawn to.  Once you are in a good trance, do you get to the point where your whole body is buzzing wildly?  You'll need to stay very still.

Yeah when I was reading your post it reminded me exactly of guided breathing videos you can find on YouTube. Really cool experience!

Look up image streaming by Win Wenger if interested.

This sounds super interesting.

@Nahm thank you for your kind and generous donation!  Call again!

@abrakamowse it really is! And it doesn't take much work to get going.  It's what I consider a whole other pillar of dreaming that hardly anyone has ever heard of.

@electroBeam please read this about image streaming before you make a decision. I didn't mean it is only useful for remote viewing, you could also say it's a way of astral projecting without a body exit..

the GATES" did you hear about it?

The author is MARK STAVISH

@abrakamowse no, but I bet it's really good! As long as you can take all theory with a grain of salt and just extract the nuggets... But I suppose thats for anything you read...

@seeking_brilliance Seems interesting, I am reading the introduction and I think I like it... of course, I always take everything with a grain of salt. I always experience it and then decide if it is worthy. I use the scientific method Lol...

:-)

An extract:

Quote

Between the Gates: Lucid Dreaming, Astral Projection, and the Body of Light in Western Esotericism presents the core theories and practices of the arts of inner journeying and puts them in the context of more than two thousand years of Western esoteric teachings about the subtle body and its role in spiritual development.

I can't say yes or no, but I often experience something the following day which is a very blatant reference to something in last night's dream. When a dream memory is triggered, it's because something (in conversation with someone or an experience) directly relates to the dream. I'd say this is too common of a phenomenon to simply say it's coincidence. But I wonder if "random brain farts" = coincidence?

Also that was a really cool dream!

A friend of mine told me that he dreamed something and then, that same thing happened exactly the same way in real life.

When it was happening, he thought "this is exactly the dream I had some time ago"... it was crazy, he told me...

I think it was a job interview.

Of course :)

If we take the belief that everything happens simultaneously, in infinite realities, then that's not shocking at all :)

I don't remember having a lucid dream for years but a week ago or so, I had a super weird dream where I had to protect an innocent creature and I fucked it up somehow. That creature transformed into a locust (wtf) and because it was dead, I thought that I should end the Universe... by cutting it into two pieces. From that point, the scene restarted like there was a glitch... and each time, there were armed men coming through some type of portal trying to stop me. What boggled me is that a few days later I found a page of interest under the "Locust" name. What do you think @seeking_brilliance , could the dreams tell something or they're just random brain farts?

In my experience, dreams are never random.

They always means something about how I feel and what I want/fear.
