Organic music for peak experiences

9 posts in this topic

I thought Leo's playlist misses out on some organic/pagan enlightenment music, so here is a little cute collection from up north :)

Absolutely soul-chilling! Adding this to mine as well. Have you tried Loreena McKennitt?

@ajai I am forced to share my number one advice, which is gradually becoming a cliché, with you: Listen to these beautiful soundtracks during and especially right after a session of shamanic breathing. In a thousand years I would not describe the wonders that await you t(here). You can literally be in Assasin's Creed by discovering it's a concept you yourself have brought into reality. I do this with Uncharted 4 whenever I wish to experience jungle. Cheaper than plane tickets. B|

Absolutely go for it. You have the knowledge now. It is yours. Nobody can steal it from you, except a well-thrown brick which ends up disrupting your memory. :D

@SirVladimir do you have any tips for the breathing? I've watched Leo's video a while back and get the general idea but... I know that personal hints and tips can always come in handy. Or maybe you could even tell me about the breathing exercise in your own words.

@seeking_brilliance There is my 60-day marathon thread from a while ago, in which I share some of my experiences, tips about the process, etc. Some of the experiences are quite "far out", so be prepared if you are gonna read it.

https://www.actualized.org/forum/topic/51431-60-days-of-shamanic-breathing-what-i-learned-so-far/

Do you notice any obstacles in the exercise yourself?

Here's one of my tips which might (or not) be relevant: During the first minute of the breathing, and especially during the first 20 seconds, a huge wave of fatigue may wash over you. This wave is nothing but the ego's illusion. I personally experience it every time I initiate the breathwork. My body and mind appear as if they have lost terrible amounts of energy. It feels like barely having energy to reach your bed after a tiring day. You lay there breathing, getting molested by thoughts like "You are tired" or "You will suffocate". It's debilitating, heavy, the ego is trying to persuade you through whatever means to stop the exercise... Lasts only 20 seconds for me. That's one barrier to look out for. But maybe it's completely irrelevant to you.

Haha yes it cycles between something similar to that, and boredom. And lungs hurt.   But yeah  I need to knock it off and just keep going, almost like a strong determination thing. Thanks, I'll check out the link!
