The Babylon Bee: Bizarre Conservative "Satire"

So Donald Trump recently tweeted out a satirical story that also happened to be written by the right-wing (somehow) which lead me to discover the right's version to sites like The Onion: The Babylon Bee.

The site is filled with your typical gas-lighting and misinformation but what ends up making it strange is that it apparently tries to count as clever "comedy".

Yet the articles typically read like a right-winger ranting by sarcastically saying what he thinks his opposition believes in. Most of the articles I've read pretty much just re-hash the same talking points you hear from Trump-supporting and Anti-SJW types but with flat attempts at being funny and sarcastic. It's that juxtaposition between the cleverness that it's apparently trying to have with the sheer lack of imagination that I find makes the whole thing seem weird.

The only thing truly funny about it is that they happened to accidentally fool their own favorite president with one of their own articles. Looking forward to see what kind of article they write about that.
