Healthy Hobbies

6 posts in this topic

Hi everyone, I have currently cut off a lot of my bad habits, which leaves me with a lot of free-time.

I'm wondering which kinds of hobbies are the most healthy, and what can they improve about ourself ?

Start doing the things that support your life purpose and are in congruence with what kind of a life you want to have. Treasure meaningful relationships? Pick up some activities you can do with your family and friends. Want to achieve greatness in your craft? Spend more time doing your art and be more creative. You should be doing the things that you know you're meant to be doing and that bring you most joy. At the same time, something that helps you to work on your passion and reach your true potential as a human being. In general, reading, yoga, meditation, gratitude, journalling, walking, working out, being creative are the staple habits.

Drawing!! It teaches you to really see. It counters our reading and text based society. It's cheap, you can start right away. There  is a ton of information and material online.

* I love reading and can read all day long. It is important what you feed your mind.

* Learning all you can about health and fitness - what foods you love that are healthy and what type of sports and workouts do you like

* Make a schedule of your week and what you would like to do and achieve - things that make you happy and help you grow

* Meditation (although not for everyone, it has been known to work wonders on the mind and soul)

*You Tube - I love you tube. Watching my favourite motivational speakers and learning all I can about business and Ted Talks is great too

* Start spending more time with friends

*Long walks, Runs, Hiking, Swimming - Take up a sport

*Plan a holiday (even if you don't have money for one right now, plan one for when you do and then travel the world)

*Start a new hobby? Photography, Drawing, dancing, making your own you tube videos? Blogging about a topic your interested in?

Hope these helped
