Have you worked on integrating "undesired" states of mind?

I'm now working on integrating different types of states of mind. Things I hate, like moments of confusion, mistakes, tiredness, boredom... Each of these happen to have they're meanings.

I uses to have this fantasy on my mind that I wanted my life to look like a masterpiece from now till the end. This is impossible to do if I actually try to do it. It's possible to so but totally indirect and through integrating all possible moments, by using boredom, confusion, tiredness the way they're design to be used for.

I have lived a lot of unhappiness because of this and made me more likely to seek distraction from the negative emotions I was causing myself unconsciously.
