Everything happens in your awareness. Soul perhaps is a more heart-centred expression of awareness. Or do you mean by soul the awareness that knows body and mind?

It's like an energy pearl....it doesn't have to ultimately exist, to shine. 

Or like a beautiful painting... With just a bit of imagination, it's as real as you'd like it to be. 

Seriously though, 'soul'/personality is an expression of culture, right?  Maybe once we admit we are basically walking-talking cultural programs, the idea of individual souls kind of fades away...

I have experienced my soul lol.

So really this question for me it is silly....

I am both this meat suit, my soul and the absolute 

Is the soul imagined like the body, probably, is everything imagined yup.

So the soul is as real as anything, a huge white ball of light, connected to me via an energy cord, it even had appendages for observation.

I have also flied through the reality tunnel thing, then seen my soul in the tunnel from the absolute level.

It is not knowing, because there is no you to know anything. Your birth (which is an illusion) comes from knowing. But you are nothing, nothing can never be known, can just be. All there is nothing, therefore nothing is absolute .Therefore, soul is nothing. You have a soul as nothing. Only when you not know, you can be. 

If you know “nothing”  (that doesn’t mean you dont know because of ignorance), you are before birth.
