The Feds will keep an eye on any group or movement which grows to that size because it is a national security threat. This is the basic function of any federal government. It's not really a conspiracy.

It isn't even up in the air as to whether or not it happened. The FBI did investigate his commune so of course he was on their radar. He was deported after all. That requires an investigation before being brought forward in front of an immigration judge who makes the ruling. Sounds like they did their investigation and forwarded it to the judge who made a quick ruling. Like @Jodistrict said at the time they were quite vigilante when it came to stuff like this due to their own paranoia of the USSR.

If you think about it, one of the major attractions of the “right” is conspiratorial thinking. “The minorities are misguided, the intellectuals are lying, and the mainstream is all wrong!” — That’s the thinking of many typical right-wingers and some far left-wingers.

Yes, if you define right wing as corruption and coorporatism, socialized economy for the wealthy. But that begs the question of capitalistic ideology as it is the actual standard for ‘right’ wing theory.

By the latter standard Scandinavian countries are both more capitalistic than the U.S aswell as they are more socialdemocratic. 

Point being that saying the mainstream leans right (under the premise i assumed you did) is like saying nothing at all to the actual meaning of an innteligable Left-Right spectrum, especially though *accidentaly seeing how the same ‘socialism for the few’ policy of the nominal left wing Democratic Party is the other side of the spectrum.

Mainstream media is generally right wing.. 

Left wing is a minority. 

The Right wing tries to create this illusion that all is left wing to instill hate against the left. 

It's basically paranoia and fear mongering. 

Also the Right have a lot of money invested in them. Look at their rallies. Their shiny cars. The left sits with a begging bowl. 

But the Right wing acts like they're oppressed. If you see every right wing pundit,they have big mansions in California and richest cities. Nobody deplatforms them. Ben Shapiro recently moving to another expensive city. They have made tons of money out of fear mongering, like Trump and his cronies 

 The quickest way to get rich in the US is to join a right wing media house. Most YouTubers got off rich like that. 

But the gaslighting is amazing. Despite all the their privileges they play victim and act like they have been crucified. Everyone is supposed to feel sorry for them. Classic Projection. They play the victim meanwhile accusing the Left of playing victim all the time. 

Paranoia works huh, who knew.
