First time Ayahuasca (need tips and help)

I ordered 50g Mimosa hostilis and its on its way. It is going to be my first big trip with Ayahuasca so I will need some help. 

Firstly the batch is just shredded Mimosa, does any of you recommend any particular process for brewing it? Also the dosage. That would be helpful.

Secondly any tips for a better trip? What problems might occur? How can I stop it if it goes south? 

Best way to consume it?

All PERSONAL recommendations and tips from PERSONAL experiences are welcome. Making this thread is a part of my research on the topic.
