I can see Trumpisters saying they will vote anyway.

It's related to the fact that he's a scumbag, as all Trump associates are.

I saw a few people speculating maybe he was the one who leaked the documents but it seems farfetched at this point and unrelated

Why would he have Trump's tax returns? And why would he leak them? That makes no sense.

The leak probably came somewhere from the IRS or other government agencies.

He's probably suicidal because he knows his grifts are coming to an end and his comeuppance is fast approaching. He probably pissed away all the money he's grifted and painted himself into a corner.
