God motivates us to progress life on this earth.

I have a deep inner feeling that god wants us to improve and progress humanity and the earth that's in front of us.

Do you feel this too? Why do you think this is?

God and you are one.

So, God's will for you is YOUR will for you. If you want to progress in your understandings and improve as a human, God, meaning YOU, will harness the power of the whole universe so you'll have that experience, which is the ultimate purpose of God. To know itself experientially and that is done through you. 

That deep inner feeling you mentioned is The Compass of Truth. Intuition. Your divine guidance. Trust this and you will know God.

So, in actuality, it's true. Humanity as a whole, IS advancing and improving all the time
