Tactic (for Fighting And Other Sports)

Growing in skill with the martial arts takes work. But I'll show you a manner of developing a great skill.

To increase in knowledge of tactic, for everything you accomplish, acquire the skill to throw it off; then find both how to throw off what compromised what you accomplished and a better approach than the first one which was compromised. In everything you will always find a more and more efficient manner of approach.

Now, another aspect of the martial arts has been spoken by an old wise philosopher. That the idea of martial arts is to grow so much in them, that you would be able to use them in all that you do. One aspect is awareness

You should not pay attention to one sense to the point that you are distracted from any of the others. This includes overexertion on a single thought or too much trust with an emotion. A big aspect with not paying attention to any one sense to the point that it distracts you from the other senses is that the mind begins to resort to its animal instincts. it says that comfort was where you were keyed into one because comfort had been associated with safety. But of course that is not the case. A big problem with people is their animal instincts aren't properly hones. They say the pain which is only momentary is danger yet it takes a struggle to gain muscle. This is why people often struggle with working out. You have to gain patience through struggle, and to direct your focus to all of your senses you must have patience and not have a mind which wanders off and is focused on one subject too much.

By not focusing on one sense too much, your mind says that not enough focus where you feel vulnerable will allow the enemy. But the feeling of vulnerability is only a reminder of what a situation had resulted in in the past. So you must look at it as a suggestion rather than a proper description of the situation. You have to grow past the animal instincts as well as shame and embarrassment which are instincts to keep a reputation up in the survival of the fittest, so that your experience teaches your brain a new manner of approaching something not according to its classic result. Just like when Leo showed a picture of spider to which the brain responded towards as though danger were imminent, multiple views of it will lessen the old emotions reaction and teach the animal instinct that the thing is only a picture, it is inert. The danger your mind hallucinates so that you can actually see it is only an extremely vivid and visual suggestion about what the situation may bring. That is what emotion is; only animal instincts. YOu must dig past these to grow in awareness by not focusing too much on any one sense or thought.

Another advice is not to assess every attack but simply assess useful attacks. This is part of the reason why people in arguments do not win so quickly before they are frowned upon. They attempt to assess everything that comes their way which results in the inference that they care and the others lose respect towards them. As a result the pack takes advantage of the one who is too defensive. Only assess the useful attacks and you will build in skills and in terms of observation you will gain more useful experience than that which is blinded by your own anger or defensiveness. This is also true in warfare. You should only avenge an opponent's useful attacks so that you are prepared with enough energy when his burst of energy should be quenched. Allowing his useless attacks may lead you to time a spot to dive in for a massive blow.

A telegraph is the word used to describe something visual that makes it obvious that our opponent is going to step into attack or throw a certain weapon (such as muscle movement and other hints which are a guide for expectation). Now, if you are efficient to the point of perfection, every movement you use to establish a task will lead very quickly to the target. Getting out of bed in as few movements as possible is as simple as using the closest most convenient yet efficient weapon. Do nothing that is of no use and do nothing merely for style. Let that which you use for style be to attract people to gain in power which is for rather than against you. Style without tactic is useless. Use the next available, most efficient movement to establish every task throughout its stages; even if what you use is an unlikely tool. If you improvise most efficiently, you will notice the presence of martial arts in your every movement.

I use a kick boxing bag for exercise and self defense practice

Practice hitting with all your body weight , pushing from your toes upward will employ all of your body weight to the hit , practice lunging and hitting a kick boxing bag until you are dead tired.
Rest and do it again , repeat until your cooked.

Practice makes perfect , Bruce Lee mastered the technique , he would spring himself forward to use ALL of his body weight.

Quote: I'm not afraid of the man who knows 10,000 punches , I'm afraid of the Man who has practiced one punch 10,000 times.

A hard hitting kick is just as important

You can also lead the fight paying little attention to the opponents response and plummet him with 35 rabbit punches and a roundhouse to the head.

There is no need to spar in a fight instead act fast and dirty before he does

Beam, your profile picture looks like the older version of an old acquaintance of mine.

anyways, after your mind becomes aware of an idea for action, do not first look or act in the direction or manner of your idea's description. after an idea, the immediate physical action should be to search for obstructions to your action. This way your eyes and telegraph will not alert your opponent; because your idea began in your mind and did not directly go to your body your movement will be unpredictable. Aim to reduce your telegraph while applying this and you will be very unpredictable. Remember, do not physically carry out an action immediately after the idea to commit it; the immediate physical action is to find an obstruction (whether mobile or immobile).

Your on the right page as far as I can tell as a mentally strong opponent is the hardest to strike or pin down , slippery fighters to hit are clever people.

True. One thing that Bruce Lee said, "The best sparring partner, though, is a quick, strong man who does not know anything; a madman who goes all out, scratching, grabbing, grappling, punching, kicking, and so on." and, "Yes, at times a clumsy fellow will mess up a better man because his awkwardness serves as a sort of broken rhythm."

The thing about a other than orderly combatant is that there is no such thing as disorder. Disorder is only like pointillism zoomed in on and from a distance i looks like an orderly picture. I use comparisons like that to understand my opponent. If you can see a man going rogue and disorderly up close you find that he is oddly arranged. But to step back is to find him in simplicity. You can notice a pattern amongst what is recurring and strike when that patterns seems to repeat. The thing about something unpredictable is that it only seems to be both disorderly and orderly. It is just like the example of pointillism. Simply step back and notice a pattern and be careful that, once you strike the pattern, that the "smaller pieces" it becomes do not wrap around you.

So ultimately the man with an orderly mind can find the order amidst the chaos and figure the rest. That can be done by finding even everyday scenarios it is similar to, knowing what best solved the problem or lead something to your advantage even in the long run. The similarities example is something I devised and probably redicovered because I was so curious as to why any stance was called, "crouching tiger" and then I realized.

You got me thinking Gabe

The task I / we face is to make order out of the chaos in our lives with the opponents being ourselves

In fact, the whole universe is linked with logic. Let me give you more to think about. Reproduction and planting are similar. The man plants the seed into the woman, who is the earth. The result is "the fruit of the womb", which is a biblical saying. Basically, the universe operates off of logic because truth itself is logic. But how many people look so far for absolute truth? The truth is that, just as comparisons link things together by something specific, any wisdom in the universe can be found simply by observing the relationship between two things and finding what is always consistent between them. Nothing illogical has ever happened. Therefore only logic is the proper foundation for building, existence, or life itself. This is why the bible says that the messiah is the firstborn of creation etc. Not many know what I know but I do know an old verse that says that a proper foundation is rock. So I thought about rock which is solid, a solid being consistent in nature. Truth itself is consistent. So whenever I observe people, I listen not only to their voices, but their body-language, and also the emotions I seem to sense or acknowledge as my own. I am convinced that most people are creatures of habit and that, if you know which gestures they are influenced by or are trending in their lives, you can read their mind by inference.

This is why I wrote this: "Do not attempt to express your emotions exactly how you feel they would sound, look, or feel in communication or for the sake of action. How you choose your actions is the link into your mind. Do not allow an opponent to almost perfectly empathize with you. Consider this tactic even with who you label friends. Do not commit action for the sake of action. Do nothing that is of no use."
-Gabriel David Gomez

Most people are addicted to accurately expressing themselves when even being a tad bit off will still get their point across. So I tell people that being obvious is key in communication, but being a little hidden protects your weaknesses and also makes people think that the extent of your persoanlity never ends.

In a way the mind is invisible, so why would people struggle to fully embody it with gestures and actions? Its like they are setting themselves up. So just like a telegraph (a movement that lets an opponent know what you intend to do so that they may intercept) it is necessary not to fully solidify that link between your mind and body, others may climb it into your mind and fool you. Be like water. Let it be there, but only for sufficient use. Too much is the same as too little inasmuch as neither is efficient.

The Mind being trainable and programmable has the ability to change its outlook to that of others outlook.

Words can shape and change the mind like an axe can change a tree
