In-depth, physiological chakra resource

8 posts in this topic

Does anyone knows a great book/video/whatever that explains the cause, the effects and the relationships, both static and dynamic, of the chakras when you work on them?

I've been experiencing some obstacles in opening them and I'd like to understand the behaviour that I observed.

For example, can a chakra block other chakras? Can a chakra open when you open another chakra? In what ways a chakra closed by some event can be opened? How to know if a chakra is ready to be opened or if a chakra needs you to open another one first? How to overcome specific blockages? How can a closed chakra manifest physiologically, what are its related sensations? What is the best approach given a certain physical response when working on a chakra?

I already read the book on the booklist about chakras and kundalini, but although the author gives a certain step process, I didn't find what I was looking for and actually chakras are not linear: you can open one of them but it can close again when you work on another one.

I'm looking for a resource based on the physical feelings a chakra can express through. So, somatic descriptions mainly.

Thank you.

In Japan they use the hara, whch is basically the belly. hara is also known as the mountain of consciousness and is considered storehouse of energy in the body, hara is also considered the center of death in the body.

They have a belt that helps with hara breathing so you can learn to breathe deep into your belly.
