RELEASE ME

15 posts in this topic

During meditation, I noticed that when my mind says I do something, or I am something, my ego is reinforced. I see a snap shot of an image of my head which comes with a whole bunch of identity. How do I let go? Or are we supposed to live through that? I think it burdens me, restricts me, but at the same time gives me stability, a sense of belonging. I’m not exactly sure where I’m going. It feels as if I’m constantly living through this restrictive image.

Maybe try viewing everything (anything and everything you experience, including what you would normally regard as yours or yourself) as not me; not mine. Just try that view/lens on like it’s a set of clothes. See how that lens develops.

@B222 Seems like cry for help. Are you spiritually frustrated?

If answer is yes I might help.

Thanks @SoonHei. Thank you so much.

Continue watching! It's happening but you keep interrupting yourself. Stay in longer! Give yourself to god fully. For 30 minutes, and then get up and go on with life.

Love you too man. You know,It's such a hypocrisy to say this. I actually never said this to anyone in my life. Maybe when I was younger but was pretty much forced from girls. Even if I mean it I will never tell it. "I love you" oh pls noo just...

Examine the parallels between mind and ego.

Is it any different?

Maybe mind and ego are just the same?

Contemplate.
