Need Advice On Consciousness Work

3 posts in this topic

A glimpse into the infinite nature of everything propelled the writer into pursuing spiritual development. The first six months after the glimpse, The writer spent a majority of his waking hours contemplating, healing, and TRYING to deepen the realization of unity and unconditional love. But, did not succeed.

It's been a year, and the writer is still neurotic but understands the reasons behind his neuroticism. Reality and non-reality has become evidently clear. Names and descriptions aren't real. Goals and purposes are illusory. Money and relationships are unreal. Everything named becomes unreal and unnamed remains real.

However, it seems that the writer isn't progressing. He seems to be stuck.

Although he finds appreciation for all of life, his consciousness seems to be reverting back to his former self and he is aware of that too.

His heart says that he should shift to a new place and take a break from talking to people.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Glimpses can be so powerful that could drag the Ego into permanently wishing to open its eyes. But the Ego is blind and can never see more than glimpses. Only the Spirit can see Unity.

A writer is always progressing when he is writing.

A writer can never become more than a writer if he is too attached to his writing.

Do you want to be a writer or something else?

Balance. That is the trick. Don't go into extremes and try to balance all aspects of your life.
