Atleast something is happening, right?

To say it is actually happening creates a distance to it, a solidity/realness. To say it is not happening can lead to much confusion because the individual will try to conceptualize that. So both, and neither of them. The point is that it doesn't actually matter, this doesn't need to matter to be what it already is.

Is it happening in an objective sense? No, in the final analysis, there's no objective reality whatsoever.

Subjectively? Well, if there's nothing objective, then, logically, there can't be something subjective, as they are defined in terms of each other.

Yet something is going on! Mystery!

@Mosess

Let's begin with direct experience. Please verify in experience as you read.

That which is seen is different to that which is heard which is different to that which is touched, felt,  known etc.

Now if we notice we are the root of each of these, as the Un-seen and the Un-heard - the un-touched, un-felt, un-known - "un-manifested").  All of those are the same no-thing. The no - sounds  is the same as no-sight.

They are not two different unmanifested fields one of which is for sound and another for touch.. It's one infinitely unifying field with absolute potential. The Un-manifested is the Consciousness / Awareness (you, you, you).

Can't find a satisfying answer in the realm of the senses, what you should be doing is practice self-inquiry аnd forget about theorising about what is happening or not.

Something happening is the illusion.

From the illusion, it appears to be happening, which makes it true from the relative standpoint.

When the illusion fades, it appears to have never happened at all.

What is the "unmanifested" other than the unifying field of all the sounds, sights, smell etc. that is YOU? For me, this description of the ultimate truth is misleading since it leads to ideas such as "nothing is happening", "you don't exist", "nothing exists" = spiritual nihilism.

Ego doesn't like responsibility so it creates separation between "what" is happening and "is-ness" (note how it labels "everything" with "this" or "moment" or even worse, "nothing").

The step of seeing the space separate from the content is only the inbreath... Then the outbreath is merging with experience completely, seeing that its only reality is the empty unmanifested self (consciousness) , all contents are dreamlike and only real during the dream , but still can be enjoyed as they borrow reality from the Truth.

Nothing is not what we think it is. Nothing is right now, so it feels pretty full.

This moment always happened. Past tense. It's just pure imagination. Conventionally though, yes, it's happening.

As soon as awareness exists, so does memory, even for the shortest time. So with time there is unfolding, I.e. happening. The etymology of the word moment comes from a word meaning “momentum”, and “movement” which implies change over time. Even the word moment implies time, for there to be change, therefore it implies a happening.

There is no moment without happening. For there to be a moment, there must be something happening.

Reality is a strange loop/paradox.  Something is Nothing.

Both.

It's relative to many things (eg. if you have an ego and you are percieving, then it's happening), but the happening is at the end just a dream, an illusion.

i ain't theorizing, i was contemplating, sharing my question with u.

its happening to our little limited (personal) perspectives.

its not happening if we zoom out of our limited (personal) perspective.

It's happening. Period.

The only thing that says it's not happening or maybe it's not happening is thought (oh what if I'm dreaming? .. what if I'm inside a simulation?.. oh relative and absolute.. oh Leo said this.. oh quantum mechanics says that bla bla bla) . Silence your bullshit-making machine called the mind and connect with (feeling) instead of (thoughts about feeling)and there is your answer.. You won't even need the question.

Happening = is.   Not happening=is not.

Thoughts can allow both is and is not.

Feeling (direct experience) can only allow is.

Nothing is happening.

The substance of reality is Nothing.

A Nothing that exists.

So using the word “Nothing” as a noun and making it a positive statement:

*Nothing* IS happening.
