Inquiry - Is there anything that could happen that would stop your will to live more?

20 posts in this topic

Usually people are asking the question of "what motivates you to live", however, recently during meditation, I got a question that I see worthy to be asked:

Is there anything that could happen in your life that would break your will to live?

I think this question speaks the most of who we really are inside.

Too much pain, disappointment and finding no reasons to live. Many people take their life, it is a result of fate i think (as we have no free will).

I judge no one, but for me i will stay to see how the movie ends. I know i can't die anyway FUCK

Coming out of denial about life, and not being able to wake up from it (or even knowing that it's possible).

That's what broke mine.

Hope and acceptance.  If you don't have any hope or acceptance in your life.. That's it you are done.

my mind is gone to a better place.  I'm elevated ..going out of space . And I'm gone .

Yes, it seems that there is always a reason behind.

Yes, hope must be the fuel for someone to keep pushing forward even when things seem grim.

If I may ask, what do you by coming out of denial about life and not being able to wake up form it?

No, because I already don't have any will to live.

If I may ask a personal question, if somebody would with a gun towards you, you wont run away honestly?

What I mean is that if you see life for what it is from the personal perspective, and you don't know that it's just a dream, then it's a nightmare.

There is no rational reason for not commiting suicide. The only thing that keeps everyone going is fear and denial.

I only held out as long as I did, and only barely, because I knew about the possiblility to wake up. And still I almost did it, just two months ago. Because knowing it's a dream and not being able to wake up is even worse. I was shown just enough to stop me.

Somehow the universe manages to keep me teetering on the edge for almost a decade now. Things took a turn for the better since two months ago, but it's not over yet.

Actually closer to 15 years, but I didn't know about waking up back then.

Yes. Something that cannot ever be replaced. That you have accumulated for life.

This is back then.
