How To Make/find High Quality Friends ?

4 posts in this topic

I generaly find people boring and uninteresting (or even sometimes simply retarded) and at my age ( 22) people's interests are mainly drinking, smoking and partying.

If they are not interested in those pleasures they are ecological vegan hippies socialists ( My ego finds this hilarious) and I can't relate to them at all.

Playing video games with peoples/friends has also been out of the window because I view it as a waste of time for now. While it's the main activity of ...millions of human beings !

Aside from that they may be inner reasons why I massively discard all the people so I'm looking for advice on this matter.

Please note that being able to relate to someone doesn't guarantee you will be great friends.

Any tips ?

If you want to attract high quality friends you first have to become a high quality person. Like attracts like. In your post you are only judging people and saying what you don't want and like, in stead of saying what you do want. A golden rule in attracting the right things is that you stop judging and constantly gauging the results, and in stead you start loving and trusting the process. If you shoot everything down at first glance you won't get very far in manifesting your preferential desires and goals. Open mindedness and mental flexibility is key.

@Lynnel I can relate to your situation.

Simple solution: Just be open minded when you talk to someone, you never know if this person can evolve into a high quality friend for you.

Never exclude someone, because he/she does something you consider a waste of time or you can't relate to.

@vizual Thank you very much. I will inquire into that. There is almost nothing I want in a person - it's actually kinda weird - My ego would feel inferior if they were to have too much qualities, but wouldn't talk to them if they were too " bad" . Sigh.

@Anna I will think about why I'm judging every little once of every person I meet and then we'll see. I believe things will get better. It does seem like a internal problem overall.
