Does God Care about Us?

30 posts in this topic

In fact, this is not the case. God loves us very much. The Bible says that God is love. God loves us so much that He gave his son to die in order to atone for our sins and give us the opportunity for eternal life again. I think it would definitely become clearer to you who God is if you reflected on the Bible, because this book is his word and through it he communicates with us. If you analyze what is written there, God will become much more real to you and you will be able to understand who he is. I know that God cares about each of us. Sometimes he does it through other people. I work with elderly people on homecareassistance and see how it helps each of them cope with difficulties.

To be God is to know nothing of God.

Judgement and caring are two sides of the same coin.

It's a story, but the cold and even selfish aspects of your self are actually necessary to be maximally loving.

@SQAAD What is the greatest love: caring about you, not caring, Loving you or you loving you infinity. Why would god not choose the greatest option. Leo one said something along the lines of "you would have to be a moron not to create the greatest love as god"

Martin Ball said in one video that "God doesn't really care what happens to one individual or another".  Thats sounds very depressing to me.

That sound like a huge lack of understanding in god Martin should watch some of leo's videos lol.

@SQAAD the way you phrase the question suggests that God is separate from you.  You are God.

The distinction between care and love is enormous.

care (n.)

Old English caru, cearu "sorrow, anxiety, grief," also "burdens of mind; serious mental attention," in late Old English also "concern, anxiety caused by apprehension of evil or the weight of many burdens," from Proto-Germanic *karō "lament; grief, care" (source also of Old Saxon kara "sorrow;" Old High German chara "wail, lament;" Gothic kara "sorrow, trouble, care;" German Karfreitag "Good Friday;" see care (v.)). https://www.etymonline.com/word/care

God does not care as care is defined above. Thank God.

With God, it's always a one-sided relationship.

Foolish until proven other-wise ;)

A book author cares about all of his characters, even those he wrote tragic stories for

Book authors and god are very very different. This is a good analogy though!

Is it  actually true?

Does God care about us or not?

I assume "it" does because of Infinite Love but i don't really know...

Of course it cares, it's just a kind of caring that's impartial, and too big to understand.
