Eating only fish instead of meat for three months

3 posts in this topic

I have decided to do an experiment where I only eat fish as my main protein for a few months.

I am getting a blood test tomorrow, and then another blood test at the end of the three months, and plan to compare the results.

My reasons for doing this are: Fish feels easier to digest than meat, so I want to see if it is sustainable.

I am only buying fresh, low mercury fish such as Mackerel,  Wild caught salmon, Shrimp/Prawns, Scallops, Sardines.

I was wondering if this is dangerous and will increase my toxic load. I am being sure to only using low mercury fish, but wonder if this is still dangerous as the fish are considered "low mercury" not "no mercury".

Seems like the right step forwards :) Animal products are not an essential part of human diet but keeping small oily fish sustainably caught, rather than beef and chicken can be quite beneficial especially for your fatty acid profile.

Make sure to share your results with us.
