I have memory of reality being much less "solid" of an experience when I was young and sort of existing as this thing that wasn't even aware it was a thing, no concept of death, just aware and I could bounce around physical spaces and make them large and small and all sorts of skewed relative experiences. I suppose what we label conventional death/birth, two sides of the same coin is a sort of washing away a reference point kinda like a sand castle being washed away by the ocean.
