Newborn Infants are in a psychedelic state

I saw a ghost/spirit when I was a baby

It seems children see this type of stuff more often, maybe cause they're more in touch with their intuition

Yeah the only reason I remember it is because it was such a shocking experience

I remember looking around to make sure I wasn't dreaming

What a clever baby you were! You knew all about ghosts.

Fantastic memory too, you are the only adult I know who remembers that far. Are you a genius or something?

@Nahm Don't really know what you're talking about. Maybe am just in the wrong forum..

If am messing with your religious beliefs, then I apologize, seriously. Am realizing this may just not be the place to have open-minded talks about these kind of topics.

10mg of 5-MeO-DMT + torch lighter + oil pipe – to see it clearly ;)

Thanks for sharing the article though, a very interesting topic.

What a dream, what a joke, love it   :x

@wwhy I think this is very interesting.  I wonder when this starts to go away, probably  with the more beliefs and assumptions that arise as the baby 'wakes up' and 'becomes conscious'. Wow those terms are so silly.

Babies and most animals are still in what is called the "natural" state, or integrated state. That's pretty much SD stage Beige.

That's not the same as enlightenment, but it's what you return to if and when you transition out of the "unnatural" ego-dominated paradigm of separation. Not an infant's Beige cognitive development, but an infant's state of integration with the larger energetic environment. Sometimes also refered to as an oceanic state.

Except, whereas an infant or an animal doesn't recognize its own state, an integrated adult does. That's pretty much SD stage Turquoise. That's what makes development a spiral rather than a circle. And hence the "natural" in quotes. Because of course the whole spiral represents natural development.

So that's where so-called shadow work comes in for example, and where the term integral comes from in this context. What they call integration is really just re-integration. Shadows are created in the ego-dominated paradigm, i.e. the segregated state. Babies generally aren't born with them, they accumulate mostly during childhood (which for most people extends way into physical adulthood, that's really the only thing that could be said to be "unnatural" about it).

@Nahm yep that's what I meant by 'waking' up and 'becoming conscious'. Never realized how ironic those terms are that we apply towards infants developing personality. When me mean the exact opposite. Creates veils and shadowy cloaks.  But clothing is meant to come off.

Well, not really. You don't have to know about ghosts to see one. It's just when I think back the appropriate term is probably ghost or spirit or whatever.

Haha its actually not that uncommon

I'm not sure what my exact age was obviously but I'm pretty sure I would be considered a baby

And its that psychedelics shut down the more noisy parts of our subconscious minds memories, allowing the conscious mind to observe the temporary stillness within.

Just a perspective for ya... If it’s noisy, it’s not subconscious. For a daily meditator, stillness is not temporary. The mind does not observe the stillness, the stillness appears as the mind.

Well yeah, because everything is new. O.o

Plus ties to imagination. Links into what I was saying about the connection between purple and yellow via sublimation of the magical in the intermediate stages.

I saw a ghost/spirit when I was a baby

I saw a recurring one a few times when I was ages 3, 4, 5 as well, specifically a skeleton like figure. Either in my dreams or in a trance/half awake state.

I remember once at age 4 my parents angry and yelling at me after waking me up while I was standing outside at 3 in the morning. I slept walk while being led by this figure in my dream, apparently I unlocked the door and everything and my parents must have heard the door close.

The weird thing is this entity or whatever it was wasn't hostile or trying to control anything like you would assume a skeleton figure would. It was oddly playful and curious, like it wanted to show me something or lead me to something important. I'm not sure.

What is most odd is I know logically it was probably just the randomness of child like imagination, yet I still have this deep feeling like it was real. Some sort of connection to another spirit that had passed the physical world. I have no idea.

Maybe I'll meet him again someday.

@Roy Yeah I also sleepwalked quite a bit when I was little

The one I saw looked like a child with a sort of blue tint/glow. I 100% saw it though, no mistake about it. I remember looking at my mother to see if she could see it but I was just a baby so I couldn't really say anything.
