Suffering vs illumination

6 posts in this topic

Leo gura.

It will be tough for you to reach pure illumination because you didn't suffered enough. You may do it, but It will be tough for you. Having a eating problems you solved in ten years is not enough.

You've got to hate yourself to death to kill your ego. Otherwise, Ure JIddhy Krishnamurti. which is rare. LIke all the indians masters.

Leo gura, Ure a master, but you dont understand human suffering. Which is what you miss to become a pure yogi. Its very rare that a yogi can understand humans without suffering himself. Jesus is an example. Youve got to suffer to understand.

Have you ever suffered really Leo?

I'm not sure you can REALLY understand the humanity without having felt there suffering. I not sure, but I think you can, its just more difficult, cause when you want to kill yourself, you know why and you know who a human is.

The human nature is very clear at this point and you dont like it, you want it to go away. I didn't.

My point is, you cannot go to far from humanity in your post. Stay with humanity, humanity suffers. Its important to be the best and happy, but its also important to help the weaker. Life purpose wont do that for you and even meditation.

I would say understanding god and becoming god. But the one who suffers dont get it. he suffers. He his not even an human anymore. Compassion is what could make you a yogi.

@danton there are many forms of suffering - you don't need to hate yourself.   You can suffer deeply from guilt, regret, etc.  That is punishing yourself but not hating yourself.  You can suffer deep from the loss of a relationship with someone you took for granted and then realized you truly loved them afterwards.    The love is so deep that it kills ya.

Wisdom.  Truth.  Love.

Love, not suffering, but suffering can be in the name of love.

The ideal and probable reality is that when you really reach a ultimate state your past or structure gets fully rewritten so that you simultaneously suffered and got permanently scared for it but actually have no scars in the present moment/structure.It's like the equilibrium of physics.
