Integrative Information Theory: Consciousness + Physical systems

Jim Rutt got me on to this.  Apparently, according to him, it attributes consciousness to everything; even physical objects, and it mathematically attributes degrees of consciousness to thing.  So a rock would have more than a ant, etc.
