Stuck at meditation

@black_math49 This is a good point, thank you. I will definitely try it on my lunch meditation. Was only trying to see the root of common thought like, what I am doing tomorrow, or why my old mate ego is so huge). But never considered inner voice as another thought.

Thank you for advise.

@rav Wow that is actually a mind blowing advise :S . I just felt like was never conscious all this month I thought I was, because I was waiting for something that just hit my head after n-hours of meditation. You are right I got used to the approach where if you want to reach something you just work harder and you do it more often. It is completely different, I think I need a few months to partially realize that and get used to a new level of being.

Funny thing that sometimes I'm trying to describe my new experience to my friends, and I quickly stuck with a lack of words that can help me explain what I felt like, and just end this with a word: "Sorry there is no word to explain this state, you just have to try by your own" And then I'm starting to convince them that they should try, but I see they are listening but not hearing, Which actually brings me to another question: Have you ever experienced such a thing (I'm sure you did) when you spent some days with your own, meditating a lot, your ego goes down a little, you get a better perception to everything, peace and calm, and suddenly there is a weekends, you go hang out with your old friends which start gossiping, fight, arguing stupid things (don't get me wrong I respect my friend needs) and then you feel like all of these start pulling you in, and in a few minutes later you awakening, find yourself gossiping about someone you barely know, your ego rise again, big and shiny, and you become mad on your self. If you had some kind of this situation, what is your way to deal with it?

Thank you so much, you answers very helpful to me.

@rav WOOW, I just tried that on a lunch break (what I've probably  shouldn't do) and I saw/felt no-me for less then a minute, I was like a silent , blind observer. I couldn't understand what is Leo talking about in his enlightenment videos about no me until now. That changes everything, it slammed me harder then a hammer. I didn't feel that even during magic shrooms trip. Is it ok that all people become look differently? So many questions...

What is next? What you did after that?

@Andrey_U in my view, the ‘progress’ in meditation in terms of experience happens upon our allowing or in other words, when we abide in awareness without thought, without identity association.

Owing to attention oscillation, during our next meditation we tend to anticipate or predict the experience before it occurs, thereby both interfering as well as limiting it. In other words, we must rest memory drawn imagery as well.

Furthermore, in terms of energy ... imbibing it is one thing and assimilating it another. It takes time.

All being grace, it is best to relax and enjoy the ride!

@Unseeking Seeker Yes, I just realized it yesterday. Before I only muted inner voice with force, but after @rav explained how it should be, I tried disassociate Me(I assume that was an ego) from my real instance. And that worked better

It's a great idea to just be still and allow everything to arise. Whether it's monkey-mind, random sounds, itches, feelings, etc. You don't need to do anything, just watch the content of the present moment with an active awareness. After a while, your mind will settle automatically (in most cases) and you'll be able to go deeper.

When my mind quiets down almost completely during my sessions, that's when I switch to self-inquiry.
