Being a Playboy on Instagram

7 posts in this topic

There were already rich/famous playboys before IG but it seems like today there is a new generation of one on social media. Does anyone else sometimes find themselves desiring aspects of this lifestyle or at least aspects that are more fantasy than reality of the situation? I have an interesting perspective on this topic cause I've dated women who associated with guys in these positions and also I can see through some of smoke and mirrors but also I'm still intrigued by it. Do you think these relationships are truthful? What are your thoughts on this new wave of social media playboys?

Please post more about those women, smoke and mirrors and elaborate on that, I'm super curious. (because the same has happened to me)

I think it's just a brand--they're online brands at this point.  It's a snowball effect of 'internet clout' in that if a girl gets tagged in those photos she'll gain more dopamine hits on her IG.  Maybe get a little brand endorsement, etc.  Maybe get paid to hang out with those guys and just post on social media all day, smoke weed, go to dinners and sleep in a mansion--seems nice enough while they figure themselves out at their peak of their looks.  It's not authentic, though there could be authentic relationships that could sprout from that business by meeting other people, etc.

We are living in the peak age of materialism, gluttony, and hedonism. This is the perfect example of it.

It's flashy, but ultimately hollow. Don't get sucked into it. This kind of thing doesn't facilitate or lead to happiness.

I mean if you're really that interested you can try it. By all means go ahead. Just don't be surprised by the results.

Well I don't know the exact situation of either guy completely but basically it's all sort of "set up" and not "organic" like how it appears. For Dan it's likely more organic at this point since he is so famous and has a large crowd of sycophants that want to get Instagram traffic so he likely doesn't really have to do anything, girls just show up at his place through the party network he has built up. He's already done the work to get it all set up.

Basically to produce this image you need a decent amount of disposable income and a "business" that you will pitch the girls to model for. You can do it on smaller budgets but more hotter girls and more of them will come if there is lots of cash to burn. Basically You need cash to cover the nice big flat in the city center, a studio (more on this later), tables at clubs, food/drinks/hookah, travel expenses, etc. Trust me... these girls aren't paying for anything and most of them are broke as a bone. I've dated a few girls like this before. They will have 1000-5000 followers on IG and lots of nice pics and say they are a model in their bio (they aren't professional models who are living off of their modeling work). Usually they are university students or just doing nothing with their lives living at home and sort of living off dates with rich guys. Some may come from rich families but I've noticed these girls are more independent and not as attracted to this lifestyle... The rich girls will usually be more selective in who they choose to hang out with and not jump on a situation due to a guy looking rich and popular on IG.

Anyways once all the material stuff is acquired, you and some bros set up some sort of business you can then pitch these girls on IG to come model for. Kinda keep it casual and like you're reaching out to "collaborate." That's where the studio comes in... do photoshoots with them or something for your business you set up or whatever and bam you now have a new hot girl connection to start inviting to your parties. Getting it set up may be a combination of friends, girls you met and the club and girls from IG/tinder but once you get a crowd going make sure to always take lots of pics and document it and like you have a stable brand or party scene going and from there it makes it easier to attract new girls via social media... of course the initial girls will have friends as well that they can bring.

One girl I hung out with told me about how she was flown out to party on a boat in the Maldives. Of course there was a photographer there making photos and movies for social media. For this trip it was a guy who does some shooting with some pretty famous IG "influencers." She referred to it as work but there really wasn't any specific product being sold off of the footage from this trip. She only has a few thousand followers as well. Basically it was just a trip funded by a rich guy who was friends with some social media dudes. They dress the trip up as "work" cause they're making photos and video for instagram that isn't generating any money but that sort of cover makes the whole thing feel less sleezy for the girls basically accepting a free trip in exchange for their company and potentially some sex if everyone gets drunk enough during the parties at night. The same girl did some traveling around with some Instagram people, it's basically the modern form of a groupy, exchanging instagram traffic for sex. It isn't usually "organic" or some sort of group of people that spontaneously occurred. Careful planning went into this from the guys looking to exchange parties and lavish times for sex. It's kinda like a business... once it reaches a certain point it sort of just sustains itself and becomes easier to manage. From there they can then actually start selling a self help course or whatever with the photos they been taking.

LMAO!!  BOOM, absolutely perfectly worded--much better than even I could've worded it.  Yes, same thing happened to me, I went out with some local chicks (with like 5,000 followers or so) that I got to meet because we had mutual friends that introduced me by sheer accident.  They were also a "model" and always were promoting these little tiny brands but never seem to make money off it. These girls are actually pretty cool and chill but the whole thing is super sleazy and most definitely a smoke & mirrors thing for ultimately the guys getting their dicks wet from a myriad of fake (well at one point) statuses with popularity, money, vacations, social media, etc.

I'm not going to lie--the chimp brain + societal brainwashing really makes it seem very fun, and it probably is.  It's gotta be very empty feeling though or not I could be wrong lol

I'm not always the  biggest fan of these types of girls. I've dated a few of them and I often find them too obsessed with their material survival. Some of them are students though and pretty cool but some are just living off dates with guys and I'm not into these kind of girls. There are two kinds of hot girls like this I've noticed. The hot girl who is just a normal girl or has her own thing going and the "professional" hot girl that sorta has her survival built around dating guys for stuff and experiences. I am not talking about girls who work in the adult industry either. I have a few friends who work in this industry and they are all quite independent and doing their own thing. Of course they still like being treated at parties and free stuff but they don't have a personality that is sort of built around going on dates for stuff with guys. They have their own brand and job and I respect that.
