I have been using YouTube premium for more than a year now. I don't have a family account because I will need to pay an extra surcharge. 

I purchased a separate account for my mother as well. I didn't go for a family account, maybe it would have been cheaper. 

I get no ads and I really enjoy the overall experience. 

It is very well worth it. 

I would totally recommend YouTube premium to anyone. 

I had to deal with annoying ads for a really long time. But now I don't. 

I'm a happy camper.

I don't see the point if you use adblock, and it ads to subscription creep. Feels a lot easier to minimize any recurring charges and if you really want premium/paywall content just buy it or select pay-per-view. Right now I only paid for subscriptions to Amazon and a local photographer who makes softcore content with female models.

And there are extensions to download videos or the audio from a YouTube videos.

I don't ever watch online YouTube videos. Never once had to deal with the ads. Never had an account. Never liked, shared, subscribed, or commented on anything.

I only download what I know is interesting and worthwhile or at least recommended by another intelligent person, otherwise it'll become a huge waste of my time with all sorts of nonsense and bot suggestions. Plus, downloading to my phone gives me the upper hand of being able to watch things whenever and wherever I feel like it.

Be smart. Download.

I recommend using account. This way you can subscribe to good channels and receive updates. Recomendations are also useful.

I heard good things about it and when i saw Leo's post I decided to give a try and I am really liking it.

On my pc I always used Ad Block but on my iPhone there is no ad block so i had to endure annoying ads all the time, sometimes during the fucking video and i couldn't listen on the background, today was the first time i listened to videos on YT with my phone locked, life-changing lol

I don't ever multi-task especially when it comes to learning. Some people can, but not me.

Lol YouTube Premium is offensively expensive for us mortals living on almost Minimum wage.
