Iran's president blasts some COVID-19 numbers

Wow, what the fuck is this? Was the goverment hiding the numbers? What does this mean for Iran and rest of the world? I guess i need to prepeare more for the pandemic it seems... What if my goverment lies too? :DDDDd

@Elham for every country it seems like a great test in transparency and functionality. Hope it doesn't cause protests, because that is more economic damage and potential mass infection to the people. There are alot of interesting things happening in various countries with covid, for example there are increasing protests in Serbia due to delayed quarantine and abuse of power in benefit of presidental elections and USA's careless atitude with the face masks in a few states which should be mandatory there at this point and a few other things of course.

As I recall you are from Iran, how is the actual situation there?

Messed up as always... they announced the first case of Corona about two months late for political reasons so they lost the control sooner than other countries... then they lied about the number of cases up to now... all the nurses and doctors were obligated to keep quiet on the case... they didn't apply any specific rule on quarantine so people went back to their lives with no caution.

@Elham wow, this looks so bad.  Wishing you strength to overcome this situation. This is like multilevel type of bad and just spiraling down. I cannot immagine, since there are almost no cases in Latvia anymore, but i am sure this will come back... Maybe at the end of the year people will be distributing food just to keep people from starvation, if this keeps happening.
