@Rilles  Why so one sided and biased. Stop hating your country. All cultures did bad things. Its not the raping that makes us prosper now. Its the good things like democracy capatalism etc etc. The statues are there to remind you of that and to fight with everything you have to keep those good things. The worst you can do is say that it doesn't matter and make it al relative. It is throwing away all the forefathers have spent their live on to keep and fight for. Be proud and keep your country great! Don't buy into the selfhate, it makes people angry on whites. Be more connective and balanced.

 

No matter how much the media create hate towards this man, this was a very connective speech. What a big contrast with the anger creating media like CNN:

Yes, of course some countries are more socially developed than others... nobody denies that. just because America happens to be more developed than say saudi arabia does not mean that America is the pinnacle of what human development can be. Similar to how while the romans were relatively more developed than the barbarians, the romans had a shit ton of problems. 

Nobody here hates white people or wants white people to feel guilty. you can isolate a few instances of toxic stage green in america and demonize the entire stage as being backwards based on only those isolated bits of toxicity. You won't learn or grow much by doing that though

Of course it makes us prosper now. The winners of colonialism and imperialism came out on top, not because were better, because we ruthlessly exploited Africa, Asia and the Middle-east to some extent, read some history. I mean the first 250 years of US was based on Free Labor (*cough *cough, slavery) for Christs sake!

I dont hate the West btw, Im just honest enough to criticize it. Seeing the good and bad in a country doesnt equal hating it.

So much selfhate. This is what I mean demonizing the west. Its terrible. It is very very sad. Blowing the bad things out of proportion and not even knowing why you prosper now. You lost all balance. It doesnt suprise me. This so called stage green is making a lot of problems.

I love my country, I love other countries too, for different reasons. Open your mind to the beauty of other cultures. 

Theres no free healthcare in the US, does that mean I should hate the Us? of course not, Im happy my country has free healthcare and hope yours will too. I can appreciate the good and bad of different countries.

And yes I do listen. You have exagarrated the bad things out of all proportions. Succesfull things like trade/stocks/capatalism/democracy/ constitution/ are what made the west succesfull , not the exploitation. We were the quickest with stopping slavery. See things in a normal perspective. You sound a bit brainwashed against the west. All countries did bad things. Look at the huge amount of slavery NOW for example.
