Stop cancel culture

Recently lots of intellectuals even on the left signed a letter to stop the to hostile climate that exists now in the debate. Certain people can't handle opinion diversity. Now the cancle culture is also hurting central and opinions on people at the left this letter is made. Not when right people lost their jobs and livlyhoods.

 

A friend of mine who I meditate with told me how he got canceled on this forum. First they label you some bigotted term , then a dishonest battle breaks lose and when the personsname is made so bad the moderators do the last job. Its terrible, at least my friend is at the non violent and tolerant side and can handle diversity of opinions.

Here you can read how they killed his character and forum acces for the rest of his life. Till death he got banned.

 

Please read this so you now the tactics of the silent banning moderators. If you didn't know yet, you are in an echo chamber and will not grow without other opinions which challenge the mainstream cnn narrative.

@-Tim- I am looking through the post "Black Lives Matter" that Dutch Guy started where he argued that the only problem with race in America is that Americans are so focussed on race. I also see that he states he is from the Netherlands. Let's just say that if a person is not from the USA they probably shouldn't be cavalierly weighing in on racial issues in the USA -- this is an incredibly easy way to show off their ignorance & possible prejudice, so it's not surprising they get called racist or a white supremacist.

Nope he got called racist because he to succesfully broke down the narrative that whites are so guilty and bad. It always goes like first people try arguments, but they didn't have much, what always happens next is going for the character and labelling. Very very standard. I understand that this crushes al sort of feelings attached to the dogma. As you say insensitive. The problem is facts don't care about feelings. They just are true.

I am just here and I already read how white cops are systematic racist. Thats a very heavy aquisation and intensly anger provoking claim. This is how you make people angry towards eachother. And this is only one example. If I look more in this forum I will probably find lots and lots of bad things towards white people. No surprise shops go up in flames and statues get vandalized. The news is systematically making people angry towards whites.

@Rilles  If leo were for ground things that made the west great , namely a free arena were ideas can meet and the best win, then he wouldn't use systematic social violence. It show he is very low on the spiral. He has a very simplistic view of development. He should study more and develop himself better

Once again, this is his forum, i honestly think hes fairly patient with all the stuff going on here, but i also think he is trying to pull people away from the toxic alt-right movement that is growing so strong right now and more towards Stage Green and to do that he has to be a bit rough and not allow just any idea to be spouted. Not the way i would do it but i guess thats what hes doing. I personally wouldnt want my business to become some all out open nonsense forum like 4-Chan.

Like I said, not the way I would personally go about it, but I dont run the forum. Why dont you start your own forum? Or go to some other forum? Theres probably forums out there with more openness, quality though? Doubt it.

Stage Green is about caring for minorities, if cops are being cruel to minorities they will be angry, sometimes blindly, sometimes in a more reflective way.

I definitely understand your outrage and felt the same way in the past already but it won't really help anyone in the end.
It's definitely quite an issue on here, but as long as Leo's views are as they im afraid it's not going to change.
As for the banning it's usually quite modest on here, although in that individual case it seems quite harsh, although I have not seen all his posts, I've followed quite a few of the threads he commented at and he didn't seem to me like he even remotely deserves a ban and definitely wasn't treated fair.
This is quite an echo chamber of left ideology indeed, but what can you do other then trying to make the best out of it. People on here are still far more developed then most other if not all other forums, I guess this is what green looks like... Lets wait for some more yellow in the future.

I feel like you might be taking things out of context here, his comment was not to propagate white supremacy but to show that exactly all the cultures have their problems. But this point is even more so about being careful about the clashing of different cultures, it's not as simple as open all borders and all issues are solves as some people seem to think.

 My compliments for this text, it has a lot in a few sentences. Beautifull! It debunks the very naive cultural relativism. That all cultures are equal and just as good. Also the naive idea that all cultures will become one and it will all progress towards freedom. I also think the terrible unfree communism has more chance to win in the end. A lot of mainstream nonsense debunked, powerfull text. Thank you.

There is a lot of identity politics in SA. High political figures singing kill the boer. It would help if the racism against whites would stop there. Reperations have already been made long ago.
