The problem is you guys don't even know what feminism is. Yet you feel confident attacking it.

What is your opinion on Dr. Warren Farrell then? He was the most high ranking male feminist, but now he criticizes the movement and says it is damaging gender relations. Here is his debate with Vaush.

Just because you leave a movement doesnt make your opinion automatically legit, some atheists become Christians, does that mean that Christianity is absolutely true?

But ill watch this debate, I like Vaush.

I didn't say it did, but he clearly understood feminism and read many books on it. He was friends with and worked with many of the most famous feminists, though they all ghosted him after he started saying things they disagree with.

As with all things, there is criticism from above and from below.

The problem is that most criticism I see is from below. But that doesn't mean it cannot be criticized from above.

Feminism is a very diverse cultural movement. Are there some excessive aspects to it? How could there not be?

Most of the criticism is from Blue/Orange, "breaking up the family unit/women are too sensitive" level.

Why is that not valid? There is plenty of data that break-up of the family is damaging to society (and women), and hypersensitivity of some feminists hurts people/ruins lives, closes all the dialogue, and makes feminism look bad.

Valid in a sense, but have you looked at how unfair the family unit of the 50s was? Perhaps a new order of family unit is more healthy?

The new family unit that is becoming popular is not healthy and anyone who tries pointing out the issue gets blacklisted by the left.

Why is it unhealthy? This is getting too blurry, give me an example?

This discussion is useless if we are going to have this "how many books did you read" arguments.

Pure diversion tactic.

You can write all the books you want, but when your average movement activist is clearly moved by unconscious hate and fear, I will watch out for that, not your beautiful theory.

"It's just your opinion, man". Doesn't make any less true.

When you see the anger and resentment in the speech of red pill guys or Jordan Peterson and this lights up a red flag, you are not wrong nor crazy. They can have a lot of good arguments but, deep down, if you know human nature, you know that their motives are not what they preach.

When you are moved by unconscious hate/fear, you just project the shit out of it on others, you will forever seek reasons to justify your hate and fear. Not surprisingly, the average woman is not happier than 70 years ago, despite a world of difference in the quality of life and rights. Why? Because it's is all about what do you focus on, if you make your whole identity out of looking for reasons to why you are not as happy as you think you should be, chances are, you will find an endless river of reasons, the ego is a GENIUS for finding culprits.

If I naturally insecure because I have poor self-esteem due to childhood traumas, I will project my insecurity in the world and blame everyone but NEVER feel safe because I didn't address the cause in the first place.

That's basically what I see every single time.
