Refrain from using far-right memes on this forum please. The Nordic Gamer meme was already pretty unintelligent to begin with.

Refrain from calling everything that diverges from the left-wing narrative far-right. If you think thats a far-right meme, you have no idea what far-right actually is.

It was particularly popular among far-right communities. As far as I'm concerned, it's a far-right meme.

To be honest, I'm surprised you admitted to using that dumb meme. You could have just said that you weren't using it and I'd look pretty dumb.

Liking that meme doesn't necessarily make you far-right, it just doesn't reflect well on intellect. You come across like this guy:

@Extreme Z7 Easy. Let's not start questioning the intelligence of members here.

@Leo Gura Sorry. I meant to give an honest opinion I have with that particular meme. It's so simplistic and dismissive.

I did not mean to imply that @Robi Steel has low intellect.

@Epikur Besides Vaush's end goal of socialism, do you share common goals with him in the foreseeable future? Because socialism won't become a thing in USA for a very long time if ever. So the pragmatic question I'm asking you is if you're down with the Bernie bros or not.

Hark ye yet again — the little lower layer. All visible objects, man, are but as pasteboard masks. But in each event — in the living act, the undoubted deed — there, some unknown but still reasoning thing puts forth the mouldings of its features from behind the unreasoning mask. If man will strike, strike through the mask! How can the prisoner reach outside except by thrusting through the wall? To me, the white whale is that wall, shoved near to me. Sometimes I think there's naught beyond. But 'tis enough.

Socialism already exists in the US at some level, look at the history of labor rights and who suffered blood, sweat and tears to implement them, will give you a hint, ding ding, it wasnt capitalists, communism wont become a thing for a long time though.

I would say I am on the level of Tim Pool. I come from Europe so social democracy is the norm there but I am not shure if that would work for the US. People in the US are pretty wild compared to europeans.

I am not shure if I have the end goal of socialism. I would rather work with a Star Trek utopia.

Yes I have some common goals with Vaush. From the european perspective money has to be taken out of politics. On many other issues I am leaning away from him.

@Epikur The left vs right scale is relative. The conceptions Americans have of the scale is biased towards the right. Biased in that direction according to my personal standard. What I mean by this is that Americans will call someone left when in fact they are centrist or slightly right. I would call Tim pool a centrist, maybe leaning right in some areas. Bland and toothless. I liked his appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast though.

Yes I know I am pretty immersed in US politics because it's very entertaining.
Regarding health care I guess he leans left according to US standards. As the media except Fox news has a left bias he looks like right leaning or even fascist.

In some ways we are already. It's just a matter of definition. We are sugar coating it so it does not sound too harsh I guess. The bigger the crisis the bigger the survival/ fascist mode

"real lefties" and "real right wing" are in agreement that things should be fought out on the street because there is no reason to make a compromise.

well i guess there is stuff even someone in the middle would not love to compromise on. i guess compromising or not compromising is not really the issue if there is stuff which is in a sense humanistically not to further compromise on.

the world could not compromise with fascism, i doubt that a lot has changed since then, if the world is still doing then probably because it is difficult to make systems politically resilient enough.

freud said the only way to prevent that is culture, wherever culture fails you will see a relapse into barbaric behavior.

if you still are able to act humanly in that case you know you have culture - this is why maybe humanism (and that’s a personal preference) is the only longterm answer against fascism, which does not mean to let fascism happen, but more to see the signs early on when it develops.

but why would anyone value ethics, if they could develop power?

@Husseinisdoingfine this is thing only thing i don't like about vuash.  There is a black and white thinking which i think is where healthy orange looks at green and sees no reason to move in there direction.  Any higher stage as to say to the lower stage "yes there are some people in are group who do the wrong thing and make us look bad" etc

Trump is just as unlikely to become fascist as Bernie is. You guys clearly see him through a left-wing lens.

@Robi Steel Thought you made a big dramatic post and left the forum.

This is unilaterally false. Donald Trump is already actively becoming a fascist.

If there were mountains of evidence that the statement above was false, would you be willing to change your mind?

If not then why are you here?

If Trump is not a fascist, then he is certainly not far from it and his behavior exhibits several, if not all of the characteristics associated with fascism. In any case, it is clear that Trump at the very least enables fascism. This video by Youtuber Beau of the Fifth Column is pretty relevant, so I thought I'd share it:

@Robi Steel I'm curios; what would you consider to be far-right?
