Low Willpower

Hey guys, I am really trying to ground my reality through direct experience. However because I've always flushed down content carelessly, and had a lot of arousal addictions, now I barely feel the willpower and strength to go out and take action. it fucking scares me. It's so emotionally labouring and it feels like I cant be fucked honestly. Idk if anyone else can relate. I know what I have to do but I guess I'm just curious to discuss this.

Developing willpower can be done in many ways. But from what I've heard, the best thing is daily meditation. You can also look at your diet. Eating Healthy foods (light protein, fruits, whole grain, veggies, salad, etc.) can also help you. 

And getting enough sleep. Sleep is also important becuause when you get enough, you have more willpower during the day. Aim for at least 6 hours preferably 8-9 and try to go to bed before midnight.

These ideas can all give you what you are searching, but only make one change at a time and be consistent in that effort.

Better approach would be to get comfortable with the fact that you feel resistence towards it and examine your authentic needs and intentions at the moment. Then the willpower will naturally ocurr when there's a need. 

Start very small, by installing small habits one at the time, maybe short meditation, self inquiry etc.b

Be kind to yourself.
