Question.. first time taking shrooms

I have finally accessed shrooms! Never taken any psychedelics before. I would prefer to take them by myself (most likely just in my room as I don't want to be out and about outside without first knowing how they will affect me). Think I will be fine on my own without a trip sitter? I don't have anyone that I feel would be good for that.  I was thinking about taking a half of an 1/8th. Also, any suggestions on how I can make this trip most spiritually beneficial?

Is this room you're taking it in relatively silent and not close to other people? You may become more senstive to noises that you're otherwise blocking out, which may make you want to get out of the room, It's good to have a room that is truly safe that you can use as a base. If you're determined about doing it alone, you should pick a low dose just to test the waters. 

To make it spiritually beneficial, sit in silence, just relax or listen to music. You can also watch some videos of people like Alan Watts or Sadhguru. Just listening to awake people speaking can make you pick up on their state of awareness.

@aklacor727 stay in darkness and silence. Eat fresh lemon and complete dark chocolate or cacao. Stay in your bed. You can start with 2 gr dried. It is low amount but just check it out. Some shrooms are so aggressive.

Thanks guys ? yes my room is quiet, I had some lemon, in here just me and my cat listening to a Alan watts speech on love waiting for things to kick in. I love baths, was thinking maybe taking a bubble bath later during as well depending how I'm feeling.

My first time was on a tab of LSD with 7 other people inside one house, and I licked the scissors that we used to cut the tabs. We also smoked tons of weed beforehand, so we were basically tripping even before dropping. Probably the most disorienting yet profound experience of my life lol
