Police Brutality!

@Esoteric LOL. This song has to be satire or something.

@Leo Gura There are some good metal songs leo. For a particular genre, you can usually find a few good artists and few good songs you can appreciate of theirs.

Even the genres of music I do like, I don't like 99% of the artists and songs. But when something is genius it's just genius.

Hark ye yet again — the little lower layer. All visible objects, man, are but as pasteboard masks. But in each event — in the living act, the undoubted deed — there, some unknown but still reasoning thing puts forth the mouldings of its features from behind the unreasoning mask. If man will strike, strike through the mask! How can the prisoner reach outside except by thrusting through the wall? To me, the white whale is that wall, shoved near to me. Sometimes I think there's naught beyond. But 'tis enough.

@Leo Gura I offer you Dying Fetus - Kill Your Mother/Rape Your Dog as a smooth transition into the heavier stuff.

@Esoteric How about some Infant Annihilator? ?

(Leo and other sweethearts...Do Not click on this video if you want to stay the same ?)

And please don't lock this thread ?

It might not be "police brutality"... But it is pure brutality, inspired by "real stuff" (horrible monstrosities of the church) that's happening in the world and it's channelled into a song. Yes, this too is a song. And it's as complex and ear-raping as it gets ?

@ivankiss That's nice!

For sheer complexity I raise you Spawn of Possession

Not sure if this album was done by human beings. A use of counter-point that would make Bach proud.

@Esoteric Absolutely Lovely!

This is my all-time favorite tech-death metal album/band;

G E N I U S

Then again... No one will ever beat the Godfather, really;

The Philosopher - you know so much about nothing at all! ?

@ivankiss Hehe, I was in my early teens when Necrophagist and all those new level tech bands started popping up. It was insane, I couldn't believe how it was that possible.

My favourite DM band would have to be:

@Esoteric Awesome!

In conclusion;

Metal music is great - if not the best - at shining light onto the "collective unconscious".

Anyone can think and say whatever the heck they want! ?

Metal music dares to go places where no one else does.

This is how you deal with unimaginable pain.

This is how you heal.

Also; fuck politics. Music ftw!
