@JessiChell it went amazing. You have to prepare to it though: be able to sit 1 hour in meditation.

Daydreaming is not bad (if I understand what you mean by that). 
Now I believe that 20 minutes meditation daily is enough (if you do it as a first thing in the morning).
Meditation is "useful" only if you enjoy it.

If you want to grow spiritually I would put attention not on "daydreaming" but on "shoulds".
You can watch Leo's episode on "shoulds" to understand what I mean.

Meditation helps to "let go", let go of shoulds.
