How to go to the Moon

3 posts in this topic

I was thinking of how we manifest our realities. And I'd like some input on if this is actually how our reality unfolds in the Now.

I was thinking of how a thing like, going the the moon, would actually unfold in my reality. Keep in mind that I'm talking about a realitive, physical reality, that I live in day to day. I know we could dismiss all of this by saying "You are all of it, you are god" but I just want to humour my self right now. :)

So I've obviously never experienced going to the Moon. So in my reality, it's not possible. It's not actual. It's not in my experience. So right now it's a thought or a belief. I've seen people on the moon in video, on youtube, I've read of the experience in books, but it's not something that's physically in my reality. So in a way, the moon landing never actually happened. I'm manifesting the story of ALL of it. Like the footage, and the documentaries, and the encyclopedia articles that contain the information about it, all the technology that I use every day that has come from what the scientist learned. All of that is manifesting in my reality because of the one belief that I have of "someone went to the moon" and even before that "the moon exists". It's like you're building a puzzle, and every belief is a puzzle piece that's building your reality. Before those beliefs, the moon, or astronauts, or rockets, never existed. But since I was told they do, and I believe that there are people who are out there who went to the moon, I think that it's out there and it's possible to go to.

So if I was given the opportunity to go to the Moon. I was chosen randomly to become an astronaut, go through all the training required to accumulate all the knowledge to go to the moon, I would be aquiring all the beliefs in succession for me to be manifesting the reality of going to the moon. Like Consciousness coding an open world video game and simultaniously rendering it in real time, In the now, for You (which is also consciousness) to experience. There was no Moon before I actually went there, and now because I've been there, it's part of my reality, in that moment. After I leave the Moon, it's not in my past, it's not in anyone elses future. It was, in that moment, as consciousness was rendering it.

So all of the ego's reality is like this. If I want something that I didn't think was possible before. It's because I didn't aquire the puzzle pieces that built the picture of it in my reality, or I aquired negative beliefs that limit the size of the puzzle that I can build. That's all that seperates us from the life we want to bulid.

But when we awaken, we realize that there are no limits to the amount of puzzle pieces to accumulate, or to the size of the puzzle we can build. But we will always collapse down to a somewhat limited Reality. Until we die and truely become Infinite.

@JayG84 To paraphrase your excellent observations:

We see a beautiful old building in a state of collapse. We decide to build a huge scaffolding to enshroud the building that then collapses and no longer exists.  What persists is just the scaffolding.

We can also try to erect a huge complex scaffolding in the hope that a building will appear in it someday.  And when it does we say "Look! I did this! My scaffolding was just right.". And in time when the building disappears again we are again just left with scaffolding.

In my view to awaken is to give up on dreary old scaffolding and to always experience it for what it is, even if it's only fleeting and ephemeral.

Exactly. Impermanence is fundamental. The act of trying to hold on to it makes us suffer. ?
