Why is that nobody protested when Daniel Shaver was shot?

Waaaahhh. Life isn't fair, awful things happen and justice isn't served equally in all cases. Too bad, get over it.

I'm not the one complaining.

I'm just making a point on how black people complain as they are treated unfairly.

Black people have every right to be upset currently and historically.

@freeman194673 It's that other groups look out for each other while whites don't. Yes it's unfair that when a white guy gets killed in a humiliating way it's the crickets but when the same happens to a black guy it gets worldwide news coverage. But it's just them looking out for each other and they don't consider you a part of them. Stop expecting others to stand up for you and stand up for your self.

The difference is off course because he is white. Floyd was black and the left and media like that narrative that there is racism everywhere for their agenda. Cops don't shoot blacks easier. And blacks are the more violent ones according to statistics. Facts don't matter anymore. It's quite scary. We seen this a lot in history and it didn't end well.

Are you implying that because statistically blacks commit more crime, there shouldn't be outrage when an unarmed black person is murdered by rogue cops? Also the outrage doesn't just solely stem from George Floyd, but also from Breonna Taylor and Ahmuad Aurbrey. And lets not forget about a string of incidents of white people calling the police on black people doing everyday activities. This notion that the "left" or the media concocted this narrative is BS. Police brutality in the black community is a LONG standing issue. White people using the police as a weapon against black people has been an issue. The only difference now is that it's on film for the entire world to see.

And of course there are incidents of whites being killed by cops. The real question is why White America so silent on those incidents. It seems to me that White America is more conditioned to accept militarized policing even when its against their own best interest. As long as heavy handed policing and fascist policies are perceived to be geared towards those 'uncivilized' black and brown people the white community (at large) is completely fine with it.

Seems like facts only matter when they support your ideology. If facts truly mattered to you, you would want to consider them without a filter of bias. For example, you will likely dismiss the below statistics because they do not align with your ideology, rather than considering the statistics from an objective non-biased viewpoint. If you life depended on considering the below statistics from an objective non biased view, you would have a very different relationship with them.

This was a straight up execution of a man who was cooperating already.

And this guy was an exterminator,he had a bug spray gun.

There were no repercursisions from this.

Also the difference:

George Floyd was a repeat criminal strung out on meth when the arrest occured.

This is not fair.

If you're true intent is to shed light on police brutality (and not denigrating the character of black people murdered by cops) , shouldn't you be advocating for de-militarized policing or police reform? It seems you're more upset about the outrage garnered from George Floyd's murder and less concerned about police brutality (which you've pointed out affects ALL communities).

Good point OP. There are 1000s of such cases, known and unknown.

There is a reason why the Floyd case got so much attention and no one here is talking about it.

For those who haven't watched the Shaver video: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2017/12/08/graphic-video-shows-daniel-shaver-sobbing-and-begging-officer-for-his-life-before-2016-shooting/

Yes he reached back, no they should not have killed him. Period. We've gone too far. Use your head (better yet, use your heart).

For those who still haven't watched the full George Floyd video, go watch that as well.
