One factor I find comforting is the exponential rate at which awakening occurs. So going from 0% to 1% may take a year, but going from 1% to 2% might only take 11 months. Then 2%-3% 10 months. Then by the time you get to 12% you'll be growing 1% each month. Exponential acceleration.
