I've been wanting to get in contact with a (not earthly) guide, like a guardian angel, because I sometimes feel like using my own limited sight and insight isn't the most intelligent thing. What do you think?

My path was that of passion. So yes, I'd confirm that. However; it might be different for someone else. The Path is always unique to the Individual.

I've felt this way myself, often. I'd say it can be very helpful but is not mandatory. I walked my path alone - if you will. That led me to a realization that I was being guided constantly. From everywhere and by everyone. 

Again; depends on your authentic needs and desires - You.

Thats how you can become immortal after the breakthrough.
