Why are there dead Planets on our reach : could we use their resources?

Lets look at Stone Henge : its been man made for thousands of years, older evan, waay older.  How can it last so long? The technology build comes from a common wealth of nine great societies, all human but with different stages of evolution.  What we haste to call gods, may be part of those other 8 humanoid species.  Still how did they get here?  We have no evidence of space travel that early on. But the mind can travel great distances . They may have appeared to us as psychic projections. Its why writing is missing.  Its why egyptians, chinese, japan people got so advance, their brains where more receptive and understood what it was suggested to them.  For whatever reason, their planets might have not sustained life anymore.  But their planets can restock gas, ice and other.  Is this a gift from the humanoids and tell us to use their planets resources, or is it a clear warning that this cannot be avoided and this too will be our certain fate?
