Went to get highlights to my hair yesterday but they are barely visible

I'm stressed because I'm going to have a gig again. I kind of want to do them but also really don't. I just feel like I'm not a skilled enough guitarist. And because of that I feel like I'm going there just trying to survive. But then again, I am skilled enough. It's not like people are paying to see me. I play a few notes here and there and it's great.

So I wrote myself this to-do list for the day and put it on my table so I can see it, I don't know if it will help

I've found a study technique for remembering everything well. But it doesn't really help with understanding anything. I can only understand things deeply if I'm genuinely interested in them, I feel

I should probably make some kind of a schedule for studying. But then I'd have to wake up at some speficic time. I like waking up whenever I want

I was so stressed in that bus the only thing I could do was meditate

The friend is also my cousin, it was nice seeing her. We planned to go hiking somewhere

I've underestimated how important breathing is in meditation and everything else.

I started reading the Matthew Walker sleep book, lots of stuff related to what I'm trying to study for the psychology exam. Convenient, I hope there will be a sleep related question. I'll finish the yoga nidra book after that one

I've been procrastinating with everything again and yesterday evening I decided to get out of that rut and did get out. Got some kind of an emotional release, I was pretty much weeping all evening. Wrapped myself in love. I'm such an unstable nutcase. Alright

I'm trying to get that stage orange motivation for studying psychology, if I learn all this stuff I will get to university and I will be a respected and successful individual in society or something like that. Why am I really doing this I don't know. Going to university is just a pretty reasonable option for me.

Graduation party going to be today. I’m obviously anxious. I also need to play music there. And I’m so cold and I have to put on that dress. Listening to Alan Watts helps a bit.

I still enjoy performing music. Always terrified before but then it’s nice

Went partying at night I wasn’t really having a good time. I was feeling like a third wheel too. Tried pretending to enjoy but then I gave up.

Yesterday I kind of skipped everything but yoga. I'm totally not keeping up with my study schedule. I was aiming for 24 hours a week, but nope. Well I'm studying today again. 4-5 hours. It's just that sometimes the time goes with me staring into the distance and thinking about something else. It's frustrating

I don't know what's useful to write here. Do I just write how my day went. Do I write how I'm feeling. I should probably write about these habits heh

I just finished the July playlist. I'm going to skip August and go straight to September. Maybe do extra practices from the August playlist if I have time.

If I don't mention guided meditation it means I meditated alone

Mostly trying to go to bed before midnight now, because I don't have anywhere to wake up to in the morning. Which means yesterday I went to bed before I was supposed to. First time in this journal. I was having a hard time falling asleep though :((

Also I'm rounding these bedtime times in 30 minutes. Or how do I explain it. I'm going to be more specific and go with 15 minutes from now on.

Had a hard time falling asleep. I woke up too early. Couldn't fall asleep again. My mind is neurotic. I might take a nap today if I can.

I need to focus on relaxing my body during meditation. Trying to be aware of my mind only doesn't really help. I start thinking about thinking and thinking about thinking about thinking and so on. While my body is being tense.

A cycle of being dissappointed in myself for procrastinating and keeping procrastinaing so that I wouldn’t have to face the dissappointment. 

I even use the life purpose journal to procrastinate.

But I love this

I’ve kind of messed up my day already. Im going to relax now anyway
