Sam Seder takes far too much glee in running circles around Costco Kevin.

Just look as his face.

Libertarian Cringe is almost a redundancy.

You know who’ll build the roads in a libertarian society - the people who build roads now

You know who’ll pay for the roads in a libertarian society - the people that want to use roads

All libertarianism does is take the middle man, which is government, out of the equation

The idea that we can have supermarkets stocked with food, with no government master plan of tax redistribution to have these supermarkets, and that all the people working there are there of their own volition, but what freedom can’t do is build a flat place is fucking stupid

Books have been wrote on the subject of how we can build roads in a libertarian society

@IJB063 Government is not a middleman. It is essential for your survival.

If it were a middleman, it would have been eliminated in the past 10,000 years, yet it only gets bigger and more complex. That should tell you how essential and good it is.

Roads cannot exist without government.

@IJB063 lol.

I think you are underestimating how important government is for organization of resources on a national scale. yeah, a supermarket could function without gov. A localized road building project probably could to. Could an entire country with nearly half a billion people? nope.

Also........ this one always kills me: "taxation is theft"....

There is no tenable concept of property/ownership without government defining and enforcing them on behalf of the people.

A society like that would almost certainly be reduced to neo-feudalism.

You can criticism how stupid and irresponsible the gov is with how they use our taxpayer money. that is one thing... but to imply that this is inherent in any system of gov is just not true. We need to vote better people in who will be accountable and transparent with our money and who will create laws against things like corporate lobbying.

Libertarians don't say there shouldn't be any government. So your premise is wrong in the first place. And there's as many types of libertarians as there are many types of socialists. You're making gross generalizations about libertarians. You need to do some serious reading into the subject.

There are many types of libertarians which allows them to a shell game. The typical libertarian cannot outright say he is against all government as he would look so idiotic that he himself couldn't stomach it, yet he still pretends in his mind that society would be better off with some stripped down version of government where there are no public schools, public roads, public hospitals, public universities, public parks, regulated utilities, regulated economy, taxation, etc.

Libertarianism is a pure pipe dream based on ideology, without any actual understanding or experience of how government/society works.

Libertarianism is very similar to phrenology. It doesn't matter what the facts show, the phrenologist just takes it as a fact that bumps on the skull dictate intelligence.

Yes we need some government and it should be mostly state and local with a very stripped-down federal government. I think what you're saying is just not accurate. So I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. What you're saying is very generalistic. It looks like a pipe dream because government is so out of control and bureaucratic and corrupt that it's so far gone to bring it back to common sense looks like a pipe dream. You're right it will never happen because people are way too dependent on the government at this point. So in one sense you're right it is a pipe dream. Same as it's a pipe dream that society will ever get to stage turquoise in spiral Dynamics in a thousand years. We won't see it in our lifetime just as we will not see libertarian principles in our lifetime.

Democratic socialism cringe. We actually have to go through this crap first to get the stage turquoise as a society? At least once we get to stage turquoise then we won't need government to tell us what to do because we'll all be well-developed people. Then we can put libertarianism into practice because people will generally be mature enough to make good decisions about their lives on their own.

@giglio  No Bullshit's channel is Stage Blue/Orange cringe.

He couldn't understand socialism even if his life depended on it.

He says "Socialism" then proceeds to complain about SJWs.

Maybe check out Leo's video "Learning = Making Distinctions".

@giglio you have posted a video of some guy playing Zelda. Why?

I am sorry, but I don't agree that government won't be needed at stage Turquoise. If anything it will have more power and be less corrupted by business. More directly democratic and maybe integrated with NGOs and other people's intitatives.

Resilience demands it. Lean government is so optimized it's incapable to deal with a real crisis.

Good government will always waste some resources, because that over-consumption makes it stable. It's just important to make sure that consumption is not corrupt.

Look at your own body, does your brain stay small and isolated from the rest of the organs, or does it consume lots of resources and is connected with every little bit of your body through it's nervous system? That's the natural direction where the system will be going. Especially on stage Yellow which likes to mimic natural solutions.

No Bullshit seems to have gotten even lazier with editing lol. And he still spends even less time with thought and research.

Probably not a good sign if your video content is on par with that of LeafyIsHere.

You know what's ironic too? No Bullshit unwittingly used a flattering photo of Bernie Sanders in his video thumbnail.

He's REEEEAAAAAALLLYYY gotten lazy with his YouTube content. He can't even do conservatism effectively.

Wow indeed.

Whatever stage the channel is doesn't matter. It still highlights the silliness of stage green Democratic Socialism. Those of us who have moved past that are not looking forward to going through that nonsense as a society. It's still stage 1 spiral dynamics craziness.

@giglio We have to go through stage green as a society. Stage green is literally the answer to so many of our problems. Also, not all stage green are sjws. Those are a small minority. Most are peaceful, loving people. Hopefully you figure that out as you grow into stage green:D

-A recovering libertarian who used to watch JP, No Bullshit, and Ben Shapiro own SJWs.
