Need Some Advices On Diet Change And Some Other Stuff

4 posts in this topic

Hi guys

I am planning to make some changes in my life that i thought about for some time now but i kinda need some tips on what is important. My goals are :

  • Changing my diet from vegetarian to vegan, but maybe i will stay vegetarian (i will test it) Currently i mostly eat raw veggies and tuna/salmon with some add ons (the stuff i find in the fridge) but i would like to make a nice daily diet with proper breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now, I am not really into nutrition myself so i am kinda lost in all the information but what you should eat for each meal.... i dont know about what should i eat for breakfast etc. So if you could help me out a bit.
  • I am planning to go to gym to exercise several days a week (probably 4 with possibility of doing morning cardio every day) so i would like to fit that into my diet as well. I am not really aiming to get buffed or something like that, but mostly for the exercising itself. When i used to go gym i felt very good after exercising but i had to quit due to some medical reasons.
  • Third thing i need advice for is supplementation. I am looking for some add ons for vitality, not for gaining muscle or anything like that. Something like fish oil, vitamins etc.

Im close to vegetarian and my diet looks somewhat like this

breakfast: fruits or fruit smootie + nuts or optional: oatmeal (organic) + nuts. Lots of water + 1 cup coffee. sometimes i put rice protein (chocolate, vegan) to my breakfast. it´s very good

lunch: this i usually eat at work at a restaurant. Lots of veggies and carb (rice or potato or whatever there is), if there is vegan protein available i go that. next option is fish, then maybe chicken

dinner: lots of veggies, some fruit, carbs (potato, sweet potato, rice, organic pasta) lentils/beans/tofu someone of these

maybe two snacks 2 a day. usually fruit, some vegan type yoghurt, nuts, vegan energy bar

as far as supplements go i only take, multivitamin + d-vitamin + magnesium. I haven´t taken fish oil, because i eat fish. checkout the ingredients if you take fish oil. there might be mercury and you might not want to take that everyday. Supplements are overrated. You probably want to take b-12, because full vegan diet does not include b-12 as far as ive heard

If youre going full vegan, i would recommend to do/learn to do soups. They are pretty easy to make and there are lot of options.

If you like vegeterianism its ok. I would go for veganism If I were u.

Add oat meal in your diet plan ...for breakfast is very nice.

Lots of fruits especially morning and evening.

At night a nice big bowl of salad

I have 4 main meals but this changes through countries to countries and habits.

Some people have no breakfast...then snacks and then dinner at night, which is a proper lunch for me.

I eat breakfast when i wake up 08:00 to 09:00

Then my lunch at 14:00

Evening 17:00 mostly fruits

20:00 a salad.

Pretty simple routine.

As for exercise Im a noob
