Sedona Method vs The Work

I have become very interested in controlling my state and releasing negative emotions recently. 

It seems like two go to techniques for this are The Work by Byron Katie and the Sedona method. 

Has anyone had experience with both? If so could you please shed some light on the differences between the two, which one you found more effective, where each technique shines etc.

Any input would be very much appreciated :)

What are your experiences with both these methods? When I did Sedona I think I felt it did less for me than Byron Katie. But that doesn't mean it would be the same for you. I'm also interested in mastering my own state, but I like to do it without techniques (from others). To me it feels good advice to do both as long as you feel it gives you good benefit, after a while you might feel you don't need to ask the questions anymore. Perhaps just go with whatever speaks the most to you at any moment:)
