What are some good techniques for doing shadow work?

Hi guys, so basically I want to work on my shadow side and Im searching for some good methods for that. I thought of Shamanic breathing or maybe some specific type of shadow work meditation.

 

What are your methods? What are some good and effective techniques to integrate your shadow self into your "normal" self?

There are Kundalini Yoga kriyas which I´d swear they are literally just for purifying/healing shadows. I´ve been doing them intensily this last weeks and I´m discovering A LOT of shadows. Like I am amazed at the understanding I have discovering from myself this last weeks doing this stuff. Check out any kriyas which include breath of fire, and especially kriyas which include movement with hands and arms in combination with special/intense breathing.

Also shamanic breathwork is pretty good for that kind of stuff, but I found my mouth gets so damn dry I can´t do it anymore.

@Javfly33 @Javfly33 ok thanks, so you are bascially saying that things will come up during these practices like trauma, emotional baggage, repressed feelings etc. and how do you integrate them?

I really recommand bioenergetics, your shadow part is in large part in your muscular system, by not being able to express/process the emotion in that moment, and by doing those exercice you can clear old baggage.

Yes, I have actually tapped into childhood memories, trying to heal with love and acceptance my inner child. You wouldn't believe the amount of shit you might have in your body in form of tension. When you start liberating tension and blockages memories from DECADES ago can arise, then in those high states you can let yourself accept, forgive, love uncondtionally this stuff, finally letting it go and tracending it. Make no mistake this is true healing. 

The integration happens in the same moment the blockage or "trauma insight" arises. In that moment you are conscious so you either accept it, love it, scream, ...etc This will happen automatically by the body, if you have done shamanic breathing then you know it's not something really you control. 

One word = SELF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!!! Go for it bro!
