My personal thoughts on emotions

3 posts in this topic

Hey, Guys! What' s up ? Hope you are all fine :)

I am currently in the process to develop my emotional inteligence. And i got a couple of insights about emotions and wanted to share with you guys :)

Fear is a state of not presence, and not action by thinking about the future not in a objective way, but thinking with your ego, and creating bad situations based on what you have gone in your life.  - Be present

Shame is when you express in a way that is not real to you. - Be Real

Anger is when you get in a realy reactive mode to something, the secret for me is empathy and forgiveness - Be loving

That's it :)

About shame - why do you think it works that way?

Let's say, I feel shame f.e when I open myself emotionally, and when I am vulnerable. And this is the state when I am the most real that I can be, it just triggers shame, because you are not used to that and you are acting like a little shy girl.

@28 cm unbuffed  For me works like this, i feel like people don't really now how to express (me included), because most of the time we are not present in our bodies, we are lost in our mind, and than we express from a place that is not true to us, that's why kids copy their parents, but sometimes what for me is real expression could be not for you. I see this in groups of peoples who spend much time together, some people in the group start acting the same way of other members in the group, because they see people reacting well, but this come from a reaction seeking place, not realness, and in this moments shame comes to surface. At least for me, haha. But when i express emotionally  from my true self i feel a good sensation, like a release :)
