Good idea :)

Going to try that, thanks!

The extension I linked pretty much is about it

@Natasha On instagram there is this concept of your insta (real instagram account) and your finsta (fake instagram account) On your finsta you post bullshit, random stuff and follow close friends and all the accounts you want. On your insta it is more for solid pictures (no memes) and you follow everyone, extended network, etc.

To apply this concept to facebook, I would recommend creating a secondary account for new friends, private groups. Basically this can become your private facebook. Then the one you have right now can become your "main" public facebook. The only downside is switching accounts. Godspeed

Edit: I need to start reading the entire discussion before responding ??‍♂️ If you find any value in keeping up with extended network, having a public facebook page you can re-follow them and create a private one I guess

@AlphaAbundance I know people who deleted their FB account and just use Instagram. I've never had an Instagram account, I'm so behind tech wise and I don't really mind xD

I did this as well. I literally have no news feed.

It's nice. I deleted a small bunch yesterday and unfollowed most of the rest. This morning just checked updates from the two groups that I like to participate in, 10 mins and I was out and going on with my day...instead of endless scrolling and reading through stuff that doesn't interest me. Feels really good to finally have done it :)

I would consider their point of view in an unbiased way.

Whose point of view? People on the friend's list? I have considered it.

@LaucherJunge The ones that I deleted I haven't had contact with in years, we never interact or pm each other (group 1) or those who constantly post political inflammatory statuses (group 2). The ones that I unfollowed have a habit of excessive posting of random memes or the negative nancies always complaining about something. I still like these people, but don't want to subject myself to their social media diarrhea. It gets old and I felt depleted energetically. Not that I don't care, but healthy boundaries needed to be placed and it feels amazing. I'm an empath, btw, we tend to struggle with this kind of stuff, if you know what I mean 9_9

I just don't use facebook, it's not good and there's lots of bragging and fakeness.
