Tier 2 Politician

5 posts in this topic

Hey y'all,

So I watched Leo's conscious politics videos about 6 months ago and I def learned a lot about the philosophy behind politics and policy. I am wondering though. What would a stage yellow or turquoise politician look like if they got voted into congress in modern America? I assume that they would be trying to integrate and speak to all of the values of the rest of the spiral, but what would that approach potentially look like while operating within a broader blue/orange organization?

Let's say that the yellow politician wants to propose a policy to restructure education for example, how would he/she package that in a way that blue, orange, and green would approve?

That's a good question.

I imagine something like Bernie, but more inclusive and understanding of Orange.

Obama was actually a bit of a taste what Yellow might look it.

Actually, Al Gore might be a contender:

Al Gore would be a great alternative to Bernie.

I don't particularly have examples of such a person, but if I were to imagine/visualize someone, this is how they'd be :

  • They'd have an integrative holistic perspective which takes all governed perspectives into account.
  • They'd have an understanding of how collective ego works, how to create lasting social change. This they'd have by educating themselves on it by experience, trial and error. It's a very detailed and nuanced area where endless research can be done. They'd be doing pioneering work in this area.
  • They'd be a competent leader. Only then will they be able to take all perspectives into account. A leader has to be in control of the narrative (by definition) but a Tier 2 leader's narrative would be nuanced and elaborate enough to include the perspectives of the governed. For this, the governed would have to be vulnerable and trusting enough of the leader.
  • They'd be driven by contribution to the masses as opposed to pure selfish gain.
  • Their eyes would open to the pros and cons of the current system, pros and cons of the next system. This would help them make informed, nuanced, complex decisions when it comes to creating social change and heading millions of people towards further evolution.

Feel free to add to these points!
