Contemplation Question

6 posts in this topic

When one has experiences of let's say consciousness. One becomes aware of what it is clearly, but time passes and that realization fades and becomes less and less clear as ego creeps back in slowly. But yet, the understanding of what it is remains. Can I assume I know what it is if I am not directly conscious of it in the moment, or should I remain open and question it nonetheless. When I say understanding, I mean completely clear understanding.

Is not-knowingness the key whether you understand it or not?

Right. So what you are noticing is that state is crucial. Certain things can only be understood from certain states of consciousness.

Which is why cultivating states is so important in this work.

Your state sets a glass ceiling for what you can understand and even recall.

And yet at the same time it's important not to get trapped in chasing states.

Technically speaking, understanding is always happening in the realm of form, so it is always limited and it cannot be permanent. All understanding is gained and so must be lost.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

So I need to question things I've realized and understood from time to time, again and again.

Two nights ago I realized total self-love on an LSD trip, and when I recall to that moment now, it's like the understanding is imprinted into my being. I'm moved to tears when thinking about it. Will I still have to realize this over and over again, or will it become clear when I return to higher states of consciousness effortlessly?

Good, but that's now become a memory. A memory of Love is better than not, but what really matters is your current state of consciousness.

Now you need to be conscious that THIS, HERE, NOW is Love.

Memories are good for starters, but even them you will have to transcend to live fully from NOW.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@Raptorsin7 Yes, very much so. Each trip seems to get way deeper than the previous one, and I'm much more aware throughout the day. But if I'm not staying conscious constantly from day to day it can fade back to normal pretty swiftly until I trip again, it instantly puts me in an enlightened state.

@Leo Gura Thanks, I've been working on staying more present. Watching and reading Osho really helps, he's such an embodiment of this work, so it inspires me to be present, calm, and conscious. I'm becoming more and more conscious of reality being like it is right now for the maximization of love and that it's all imagined by consciousness shaped by gods infinite will, and it could only be this way due to its selflessness. But this is only the beginning I guess. Mdma tomorrow, and another LSD trip next week, let's see where this goes. :)
