How Do You Remain Happy While At School?

6 posts in this topic

I am enjoying my summer holidays a right now, however there seems to be a notable contrast between school and summer holidays.

As one feels good and the other feels mediocre and empty slog. How do continue to feel good while attending school, I've started full-time meditation during my holidays (I do 20 minutes a day, which I am slowly increasing to an hour) I am also running for 10 minutes a day (Which I am slowly increasing to 30 minutes as I get fitter) I also spend the  majority of my time playing video games but am slowly cutting this back so I can put the time towards achieving long term goals (Like meditation and running just mentioned).

I am also trying to read some self-help/wisdom books.

I am not sure if I will be able to maintain this + other things I will add on to my schedule while  I am school .

Simply put, I don't want to maintain the same happiness I have during my summer holidays while at school. Please do tell thank you.

So, what why does school make you unhappy exactly? What are the factors that drag down your happiness level? It's a good start to make that clear for yourself since, ultimately, you are responsible for your own suffering/unhappiness. School is not responsible, only your perception of your time at school.

At the start of they year I feel fresh , give or take the uncomfortableness from the transition from loads of freetime to restricted time.

When i start the year I feel I solid of steel, I then slowly start to rust as the year goes on. Almost like some sort test of endurance. I would like to say Homework and Coursework seem to be quite draining but Im not entirely sure.

You can, you just may have to get more creative with your use of time. What are you willing to give up in order to maintain these habits?

The reason because you feel this way is because the education system is fucking shit.

It's designed to churn out indoctrinated worker bees, not to enlighten us.

Your feeling are justified.
